Today, Poland celebrates one of its warmest and most meaningful professional holidays — Teacher’s Day.
It’s a day to thank all those who open the world of knowledge to us every day, teaching patience, curiosity, and a love for learning ❤️
💐 Students prepare performances, create cards, and express gratitude to their teachers for inspiration and support.
In many schools, there are ceremonial assemblies, concerts, and special events, while lessons are often shortened or canceled.
📖 The holiday has deep historical roots.
It was established to honor the creation of the Commission of National Education in 1773 — the first state institution in Europe devoted to education. It marked an important step toward modernization and accessible learning for all.
